What is the Canopy Bed Tent?
It's a play tent shaped canopy that fits over the top of your mattress on the floor. This is perfect for your toddler who is transitioning from being into a crib to a bed. It's also great if you don't have room for one of our free standing play tents. Our Play Tent Bed Canopy takes your mattress and turn it into a Montessori floor bed.
There are two reinforced windows on either end. Velcro straps hold the doors open.
Comes in a drawstring storage bag you can use to store or transport.
How does it stay in place?
The 4 legs of the tent tie into the corners of the mat that is placed underneath your mattress. There are fabric ties at the top to hold the poles together for extra stability.
FABRIC
Made from cream / off white 100% canvas cotton . The entire tent will be made in the same 100% cotton fabric.
This fabric is lighter and much closer to white than our natural canvas.
POLES
We use solid wood poles with PCV connectors for this tent.
Wood used is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. This means the wood is harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable.
SIZE
CRIB/COT: fits a standard crib mattress size 28" x 53" and up to 6" thick. Height: 55" to top of poles tall when assembled.
TWIN/SINGLE fits mattress size 38" x 75" and up to 9.5" thick. Height: 61" to top of poles tall when assembled.
DOUBLE/FULL fits mattress size 53" x 75" and up to 9.5" thick. Height: 69" to top of poles tall when assembled.
